Room crawl, Friday May 8th, who wants to sign up and make this happen?
We were really looking forward to this trip but both have vulnerable parents and simply cannot take any chances. We lost our deposit of $500 on this trip so we aren’t in the best of moods!Hang in there people.

We booked through Redtag.ca but only paid the deposit. The rest is due by a certain date and since the travel restrictions are only until April 30th at this point they wanted us to pay the rest in full or lose the deposit. We won’t know what’s happening with our jobs or other things and didn’t want to pay another 3k and then get a travel voucher. We wouldn’t be able to shop around for the best deal and would have other restrictions on what date it has to be used by etc. Who did you book with?Who did you book through? We did call, a few times actually, we were told that since the travel restrictions were only until the end of April, our trip was technically still valid. We could move the dates but would have $100 Air Canada fees plus $50 admin fees. All future dates were more expensive so we’d have to pay the difference and May really works for us. Besides, who knows what’s happening months from now? If we changed the dates again we’d have to pay more fees. This way we can shop around for deals when life returns to normal. I would have liked my $500 back though!Did you call Red tag they should be able to change your dates, if not shame them on social media they would probably change their minds
