Hey all, my wife and I are thinking about a Cancun trip to either Temptation or Desire next year but not really sure which would better suit us. We're not currently in the lifestyle, have discussed it in depth and we're definitely interested but not sure to what extent. Discussing where we stand on it, I feel I'm comfortable with anything at this point so long as we do it together. Not saying I'm ready to jump into a full swap first time out but not ruling anything out at this point. She doesn't think she would be comfortable with another man, especially getting started in all this. At the same time she's always identified as fully straight, but has said that she might be open to bringing another woman in to "explore" and get our feet wet in the lifestyle. Not trying to force anything, we know finding a third can be tricky, and finding a woman is that much trickier so if we go and just enjoy each other's company we're just as happy. But coming from a small town in the middle of no where, a vacation like this is just about the only way we will get the chance to "experiment" in it to see if it's for us. Pairing our interest, the sexy atmosphere and all inclusive drinks, I really think we will be open to enjoying our trip to it's fullest.
We do like the idea of even being able to play amongst others by ourselves, so that has us leaning towards Desire as well. Sounds like around the hot tub there are beds that we could enjoy if we decide we just want to keep things just us, yet still be able to enjoy the sights and sounds of the atmosphere.
We're not big party people, so the non stop frat party vibe I seem to get from reading about temptation doesn't seem quite our speed, but I understand there are areas you can go to get away from it if you want some quieter time.
The couples only, on display atmosphere of Desire interests us. Just the fact that, from my reading, you will most likely see sex and nudity around the resort. This kind of atmosphere definitely sounds interesting to us, but the singles allowed aspect of Temptation might be a better shot of finding a third to join us? Or would we have just as much luck with a play separate couple at Desire ?
