We just got back late last night. The foam party Saturday looked busier than I've ever seen it. The sexy pool looked the quietest I've ever seen it yesterday though too unfortunately. Extreme change.

We heard from a staff member yesterday that they were at 50%. Layoffs looming.

Our friends last day of work is today. He’s worked there 6 years. He also said the resort was at 20% capacity yesterday and going down. Sad

Awful for the staff. We all take for granted that there are people on the other end of our vacations that will be impacted. All too often we only think about our disruption and selfish disappointment at not being able to take time away from work to party, drink and relax. All while our jobs and government support and pay us through the chaos. There may not be a resort to return to in 4,5,6 or however many months. Scary times for real people with lives and families and children to support and care for. Huge dose of reality right now.
